(Googlen kääntämä) Pieni ja kodikas paikka matkamuistomyymälän takaosassa tarjoaa mielenkiintoisia otteita perinteiseen ruokaan. Karjalan piirakka oli aivan upea, kun taas muut aloittelijat olivat vähemmän kuin vaikuttavia. Lounassalaatit voisivat käyttää vähemmän mausteita, mutta olivat mielenkiintoisia joidenkin epätavallisten ainesosien, kuten tattarin ja männyn silmujen, vuoksi. Päivittäiset erikoisuudet: kantarellikeitto ja ohrapuuro grillatulla sianlihalla olivat kuitenkin näyttäviä.

A small and cozy place tucked in the back of a souvenir shop offers some interesting takes to traditional cuisine. The Karelian pie was absolutely stunning, while the rest of starters were less than impressive. The lunch salads could use less seasoning, but were interesting due to some unusual ingredients, including buckwheat and pine buds. The daily specials: chanterelle soup and barley porridge with grilled pork were spectacular, though.

Joten ei voi oikeasti suositella tätä paikkaa lounaalle, mutta leipäleivot tarjoillaan yhdessä lounaan kanssa sekä saanut Karjalanpiirakka, jotka saimme aikaan. Joten lopeta ehdottomasti, jos haluat kahvia ja tahnamaista, mutta lounaaksi kulje sen läpi (mikä on melko helppoa, koska sijainti on kaupan sisällä! Nautimme outolla ...)

The lunch portions were quite small and with the price of 12,50€ you'd assume it to contain coffee but no! (It's 1€ extra...) So can't really recommend this place for lunch, but the flatbread served together with lunch as well as the Karelian pasty we got after were stunning. So definitely stop by if you fancy for a coffee and a pasty, but for lunch pass it by (which is quite easy as the location is inside a store! Weirdly enjoying...)

The Karelin pastry with smoked egg butter is insanely delicious and a great deal for €4. Chocolate cake is superb and coffee is really good as well (by Good Life Coffee)
